What you need
1 lb shrimp (peeled & deveined)
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
6 tbsp butter
½ white onion
½ green pepper
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp parsley (fresh, chopped)
4 tbsp cream
1 tbsp Worchester
1 lemon (juiced)
½ c water
salt & pepper (to taste)
2 1/3 c boiling water
2/3 c grits
4 tbsp butter
1 c cheddar cheese (grated)
Method

Grits
In a pot, boil water.
Pour in grits, season with salt and stir. Cover and reduce heat to low.
When the shrimp are finishing, add in your butter and grated cheese and stir.
Shrimp
Season shrimp with Old Bay seasoning, salt and pepper.
Finely chop onion, green pepper, and garlic.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 4 tablespoons of butter and sauté the chopped veggies.
Once the veggies are cooked, add in shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes on each side.
Add Worchester, cream, 2 tablespoons of butter, lemon, parsley and stir. Reduce heat to low.
After about 2 minutes of cooking, add water and stir. If you notice your dish looks dry, add a little more water and stir.
Serve hot over cheesy grits.
